Okay...so you're interested in having me create a piece personalized just for you. I love the challenge of creating a commissioned painting to fulfill your wishes.  

Size and color are the best places to for us to start a conversation. It will be very helpful if I can see where you plan to hang the painting.  You can send me photos or, if you live in the area, I can visit you in person.  This will help me get a sense of the space and what might work best.  Once we agree on color and size I will propose a date for completion. This will usually be between two and three weeks but depending on my commission schedule might be longer. You will know the date before I start.

I typically paint on wood panel and I build all of my own supports so the sizes and prices below are just an example. I will create your painting in the exact size you want.


My prices for commissions are as follows (not including packing and shipping):
12"x12": $220 | 18"x18" or 16"x20": $380 | 24" x 24": $600 | 36" x 36": $880 | 40" x 40" : $1000 | 36"x48": $1240 | 48"x48": $1400

The cost of packing and shipping will depend on the size of the piece but I will only charge you the actual price I pay to my shipper...no mark-up! I will ask you to make two roughly equal payments. The first payment is due when we agree to size and color. The final payment will be set-up once we agree that the piece is complete. This final payment will include packing and shipping.

Once your art is finished I will send you a picture of for your review and approve. Please feel free to give me any feedback. I want this to be an open conversation so that when it's finally done you will love your new painting. Once you're completely satisfied, your art will be shipped.
